I am in Richmond, Virginia, running a magnet school for gifted and high achieving students called The Math & Science High School at Clover Hill. I have been in education for 21 years and while I was a math teacher I directed plays at the high school in which I worked. The first play I directed just after graduating from college was Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit, the cast a crew consisted of faculty, students and alumni from the University of Richmond. This production led to the founding of a Richmond based theatre troupe called Encore. Last year I wrote and directed an adaptation of Macbeth that I called Macbeth the Bloody Music. Though I loved my experience in theater in college, I really attribute my passion and continued involvement in drama to Joan Bedinger. When I am directing high school students I often think of Ms. B and how she directed us. |
I would concur with the others, the 1976 production of Godspell would be my favorite show. What a cast and crew, what a cast party! |

This summer I will be attending a month long program at Glasgow School of the Arts in Glasgow, Scotland. And, finally, posting my e-mail is fine. |
My favorite Woodson play would have to be Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. |

I am an actress and singer in New York City. I have appeared in soap operas, commercials, print, industrials, theatre & cabaret. I am married to Jake Daehler, a fellow actor and voice over talent, and we have one child together, Lennon Joaquin born on September 20, 2007. Along with his children, Malcolm (11) & Lola (10) we are now a family of 5! I completed a movie last year called "The Deafening Silence of a Very Bright Light" and am currently performing in a theatrical/cabaret show called "Rendezvous" with an extended run beginning March 2008 at The Reprise Room on West 54th Street. I loved my time at WTW with Ms. B. and the drama gang, some of whom, I'm proud to say are still my friends. When I taught drama during various times in my life, I used many of the theatre games and scripts that Ms. B. used. Borrow (or steal) from the best! |
The Wiz (1983). I was the Yellow Brick Road, an Emerald City person, a Poppy, and I got to sing solo & duet in the finale "Everybody Rejoice." To this day I am very happy & proud to have been a part of something very professional, supportive & magical. |

I work in the Interactive Multimedia and video field as the Director of Business Process. In my earlier days I was a video producer and director, directly due to my days in Drama at Woodson. I found my calling in the video field after PBS came and used the WTW Drama group for a show in 1985. Now I manage a company that created interactive media and video productions. |
My favorite WTW production was Barnum. It was truly a circus performing in that show and I learned to Juggle to get a part in the show. Also in my career I actually worked for Feld Entertainment. They produce Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus as well as Walt Disney's World On Ice, so I often thought of Barnum while working there. |

I'd have to say my I have a tie between my favorite shows. First would be "The Foreigner" because of the difficult set that was made and the exquisite acting done by the cast. Second would be "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" very much for the same reasons. |

I'm Norman Ferguson, class of '76, and yes, I still have my Godspell T-shirt. I was a Realist. I continued with theater activities all through college, and then 12 years ago I got involved in Showtimers in Roanoke, VA <http:// www.showtimers.org>. It's Virginia's oldest continuously active community theater. I've also done a bit of professional theater at Mill Mountain Theater in Roanoke. Some of my favorite roles include Captain Queeg in "The Caine Mutiny Court Martial" and the Narrator/ Criminologist in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". Looking forward to this weekend's Class of '75/'76 and reminiscing about Ms Bedinger with everybody. |

My favorite Woodson show would be Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 because I consider it to be the best time I had ever spent in Woodson Theatre and it got me onstage at the John F. Kennedy Center ! |

I only had two parts: I was the Narrator in Thornton Wilder's "Our Town" (in 9th grade, at a different school; it was a huge part), and a minor character (and a member of the male chorus) in "South Pacific." I was a stage hand, not an actor.
Joan's major contribution to my education was in public speaking. She taught a public speaking course. Today, I am a good public speaker and an accomplished toastmaster. It all started in Joan's class.
Since graduating from high school, I have earned a baccalaureate, a master's, and a law degree, practiced law, and run healthcare companies. My wife and I have two adult children (both lawyers). I live in Nashville and am active in the English-Speaking Union, the Nashville Shakespeare Festival, and the National Shakespeare Competition. |
My favorite plays were "Rebel Without a Cause" and "South Pacific." There was some very serious acting in "Rebel." |

I was in the Class of 1985 and had three joyous years with all my friends and learned all about the love of Theater, performing and production from Joan Bedinger, a mentor and Mom to all of us.
I am currently working in the Hotel industry and still living in Virginia and raising a family and reconnecting with many old friends after so many years. |
My favorite show was “The Wiz” because it was my first full production with the Drama dept and I got to know so many wonderful people. I fit in from the start and it made my high school years some of the best years of my life. |

The drama room was our home. And Ms B was our Mom. I can't remember what classes I took or where my locker was but I remember so much that happened down that hall.
Excerpts from the back of a couple of our programs:
Dear Mom, Those of us leaving will miss you; those of us staying dread leaving. We love you. - Us
Dear Mom, You gave us so much. How can we say thank you? How can we say goodbye? You have helped us grow into who we are. We will never forget you. We love you! - Us
Dear Mom, Your constant faith and inspiring motivation help us to reach our full potential. You've left us with three important values to carry with us through life; patience, understanding perserverence. Love, Us |

I am currently at the University of Delaware, preparing to graduate in December 2006. I will be going on to graduate school in order to persue a Masters degree and then a Doctorate in order to be an Interpersonal Communication professor. (Sounds a little daunting) I have been keeping up with theatre at college - choreographing, stage managing, and acting are my recent endeavours. I plan to continue doing theatre probably forever, but I'll surely never forget my time in the JCB auditorium. |
Favorite WTW production: Would have to be Little Shop of Horrors. Despite the plant breaking closing night, I've never been so proud of a show I've worked on. |

I am a sophomore at Goucher college, an intended English major (with a Concentration
in Writing) and a Communications minor. Cappies made me realize that I want to do
something involved with writing professionally, possibly editing. I have done a few
small productions at Goucher: Sally in the The Cat in the Hat (the Children's
Production) and Sarah in a scene from "Spinning Into Butter" for the Directing Class
Scenes. I am also pretty active in the theatre club on campus, and have helped with
Box Office and such. Currently (Summer 2006) , I am working at the JCC Arts Camp
(third session is theatre), where I often see a lovely Miss Addie Brown!
